Caution Order – T/409
If the loco pilot needs to change the uniformity in driving in a part of the area, a form is issued to the loco pilot by the station master called T/409.
In this, the details of the precautions taken by the loco pilot while driving are written in the Geographical Order.
It contains the names of the stations between which precautions are to be taken, the kilometers between which the speed management is to be carried out, the reason for the speed management and the details regarding the protection of the speed management zone.
Copies of Caution Order
The caution order is made in three copies with the help of carbon or in three or four copies by computer.
The first copy is placed on record, the second is given to the loco pilot and the third to the train manager and if required, the fourth copy is given to the assistant loco pilot.
All of these are signed or signed on the record file, which is proof that the caution order has been read and understood.
Procedure if there is more than one engine
(Procedure when more than one engine attached)
In case the train is fitted with more than one locomotive, the precaution order shall be shown to the loco pilot of the additional loco pilot before handing over the train to the loco pilot and his signature shall be obtained which shall be a proof that the loco pilot has read and understood the order thoroughly.
If the train is fitted with a banking engine, the question order will be shown to the train manager before giving it to the loco pilot and his signature will be taken.
Multiple Page Caution Order
If there is more than one copy of the speed restriction, his number will be inserted on each page.
First of all, the copy will mention how many pages are there and the loco pilot will sign each page separately while taking the question order.
